After almost 2 weeks of training camp in Dahab, Egypt Heidi took part at the Triple Depth competition. Her Official Top was at 11:06 and she dove to a depth of 32 meters.

At this discipline the athlete dives without fins with own strength to the bottom and through their own strength back to the surface. The athlete communicates to the organizers before the depth that he/she wants to achieve and the rope with the tag is being let down to the agreed depth. The athlete is allowed to use/touch the rope only at the bottom; it is not possible to change the weights during the dive. The athletes have to make a surface protocol within 15 seconds after reaching the surface which consists of taking off their masks, goggles, nose-clips, to make the OK sign and then verbally communicate “I am Ok” in front of the judges.

Heidi tried out a new diving technique which consists of diving without a mask and only a nose clip, which enables the hand-free equalization. The new technique enabled Heidi to achieve the third place in this discipline.
